Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Kord received his B.A.S. from Western New Mexico University in 1990, and his B.S.
from Idaho State University in 1992. Even while working as a dedicated football coach and teacher for more than 25 years, he never forgot the passion for real estate instilled in him by his grandfather.

Over the years, Kord continued to keep current on market trends and fluctuations, which led to his decision to pursue his interests by becoming a professional agent. His career as an educator has fostered his skill as a communicator who is willing to work day andnight to research how to best serve the client, just as he does with his students.

Kord lives in Keller, Texas with his wife of 23 years, Jenifer, an associate principal at Brewer High School. They have two daughters, their eldest, Alexis (20), is currently in her second year of college, while their youngest, Katherine (13), attends Byron Nelson High School.

When he is not teaching, coaching, or working on finding a client’s dream property, Kord stays busy biking, playing tennis or golf, walking, hiking, working on his own home, and spending time with his family.
